Baton Rouge, La. – The Louisiana Contractors Accreditation Institute (LCAI) has opened registration for the General Contractors Seminar, a 10-week online course that helps construction professionals acquire essential technical knowledge about the construction industry.
The seminar provides foundational technical knowledge that is essential to a general contractor in order to start up and sustain a business within the construction industry. The course is available online via Zoom, and is one of three key seminars offered by LCAI.
Since its inception in 2016, over 1,700 professionals have graduated from LCAI seminars, offered through a partnership between Louisiana Economic Development, the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors and the Louisiana Community and Technical College System. Other upcoming programs include the Residential Contractors Seminar (June 2 to Aug. 6) and the Business and Law Seminar (Oct. 6 to Nov. 12).

- Dates: Feb. 24 – April 30, 2025
- Schedule: Two-hour sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 6 to 8 p.m.
